Welcome
La Dimora dei Due Laghi is a family home in the hamlet of Rossino, in Calolziocorte, high on the hills above Lake Garlate and Lake Olginate, just 15 minutes from Lecco and Lake Como. From the terrace you look straight at the medieval Rossino Castle, with Mount Resegone behind you: a view that changes all day long, from morning clouds over the water to red sunsets and the lights of the villages reflected on the lake at night.
We are a small, family-run B&B and we welcome every guest in person. No key boxes, no door codes: the owner will be there to greet you, and at check-in we will share some beautiful hikes and places that most tourists never find, many of them reachable on foot from the house.

Rooms
We have two lake-view rooms, for a maximum of 5 guests: Room 1 sleeps up to 3 people, Room 2 up to 2.
Both rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, bed linen and towels, hairdryer, toiletries, free Wi-Fi, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and mini fridge.

Breakfast
Breakfast is optional and can be added to your stay. We use products from top brands in single portions, to keep food waste to a minimum. Everything will be ready in your room when you arrive, so you can enjoy it whenever you like.
Breakfast 1 – €5 per person: croissant, coffee, fresh milk, water, tea, jams, Nutella, rusks (Italian crispbread)
Breakfast 2 – €8 per person: croissant, coffee, fresh milk, water, tea, jams, bread, butter, Nutella, fresh fruit, fruit juice, yogurt
Breakfast 3 – €12 per person: croissant, coffee, fresh milk, water, tea, jams, bread, butter, rusks (Italian crispbread), Nutella, biscuits, fresh fruit, fruit juice, yogurt, sliced cheese, ham
Good to know
Check-in: from 3:00 pm, with no late limit. Please let us know your arrival time so we can welcome you in person.
Check-out: by 11:00 am.
Booking: a 30% deposit by bank transfer confirms your reservation; the balance is paid at check-in.
Cancellation: full refund of the deposit if you cancel up to 14 days before arrival.
Longer stays: every 2 days we vacuum and clean the floor, change the towels and restock supplies. Bed linen is changed once a week, or earlier on request. Beds are not made daily.
Pets: unfortunately pets are not allowed.

- Pozze di Erve: natural pools of crystal-clear water with small waterfalls at the foot of Mount Resegone, 5 minutes by car or a 40-minute walk.
- San Girolamo Sanctuary and the Innominato Fortress: a historic and religious trail with superb views over the lakes, 10 minutes by car or a 30-minute walk.
- Lakes Garlate and Olginate: an 18 km walking and cycling loop, with places from Manzoni's novel The Betrothed.
- Lecco and Lake Como: Lecco is 15 minutes away; from there you can explore Varenna, Bellagio and the other lake villages.
- Rossino village and castle: a few steps from the house.
